Ferringo Fest Terms and Conditions (Rules N Regs)
1. Tickets
a. Sales
i. Tickets are available from our authorised ticket supplier Skiddle Limited. Tickets are available to purchase at www.skiddle.com Skiddle's terms and conditions can be found on their website.
ii. Tickets sold on the day of the event at the main entrance may be higher in price than tickets purchased prior to the festival.
iii. Once you have purchased your ticket(s) you will receive an email containing a QR code, this is considered to be your ticket for the festival, one QR code per ticket purchased.
iv. Ferringo Fest can not take responsibility for unused tickets.
v. Ticket sales are non-returnable.
vi. Tickets will be considered forfeited if not used / redeemed at the festival that they were purchased for.
vii. Tickets purchased from unauthorized sales channels (e.g., scalpers or resale sites) or third parties may be forged, and in this case would not be honoured or eligible for a refund. If you do choose to purchase from a third party, you assume full responsibility for ensuring your ticket is valid. You may contact us at contact@ferringofest.co.uk before exchanging money to confirm a ticket is legitimate.
viii. In purchasing a ticket the customer agrees to pay the price stated at that point in time. This price is not subject to any previous or subsequent offers or promotions.
ix. We reserve the right to implement or withdraw ticketing offers and promotions at any time.
b. Refunds
i. Refunds may be made available, at Ferringo Fests sole and absolute discretion, if the festival is cancelled without being rescheduled.
ii. If the festival is cancelled in whole or in part due to a 'Force Majeure Event', you will not be entitled to a refund. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Ferringo Fest may issue, at Ferringo Fests sole and absolute discretion, a partial or full refund of your ticket, by accounting for, among other considerations, the extent and nature of the cancellation.
iii. A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean an act of God, act of terrorism, flood, hurricane, tsunami or other natural disaster, war, strike or other labour condition or dispute, an order or injunction of any court or administrative body or any other act of public authority, severe weather threatening the safety of festival attendees or similar contingency or unexpected event, and any such occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the Ferringo Fest. You understand that in all instances, the maximum remedy you may receive for the cancellation of any part of the festival, if any, will be the face value of your ticket, excluding all fees and / or service charges paid by you in connection with the purchase of your ticket.
2. At Ferringo Fest
a. Admission
i. Ferringo Fest reserves the right to refuse admission.
ii. Your electronic ticket QR code will be scanned at the main entrance to the festival, once scanned it can not be use again. The first scanned ticket to arrive at the festival will be allowed entry, any subsequent ticket with the same barcode will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, Ferringo Fest accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. Do not post images of your barcode on social media.
iii. Once scanned tickets will be exchanged for a wristband, wristbands must be worn at all times whilst at the festival and must not be tampered with. Tampering with your wristband may deem it void and result in you being asked to leave the festival or being required to purchase a new ticket at the main entrance for full ticket value.
iv. There will be no automatic right of re-admission during the festival should the wristband become lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged and you unconditionally accept the risk of damage to, loss of and / or theft of your band.
v. Your wristband is not redeemable for cash.
vi. Anyone caught forging entry tickets / QR codes, wristbands or any other special admission tickets in order to access the festival or sell such tickets for the festival may be reported to the police and may be prosecuted.
vii. It is a condition of entry to Ferringo Fest that you will submit to any reasonable search request or search policy in place.
viii. You may be asked to provide valid identification at any time during the festival
ix. To ensure the safety of all festival attendees access to the festival will be refused, but not limited to, people who
1. Are under the influence of illegal drugs or other illegal substances
2. Are clearly suffering from alcohol use or other substance intoxication
3. Have been previously banned from Ferringo Fest or other festivals and / or events by the organiser, the promoter, the venue, the administration or legal authorities
4. Are demonstrating an intent to disturb the peace or to provoke someone else to do so
5. Engages in fighting or any disruptive behaviour - the police may be called to attend
6. Resist the direction of the festivals security provider
7. Resist the request to be searched at any point during the festival
x. At the festival, it is forbidden to try to access sections restricted to artists or festival staff such as offices, bar areas, kitchen areas, the venue changing areas, back of house areas, the venue equipment storage areas (garage / cricket scoreboard), backstage areas and working areas – unless in accordance with your ticket or credentials. Trying to access these areas may result in your removal from the festival and / or exclusion from future events.
xi. At the festival it is forbidden to obstruct entrances, exits and evacuation routes and / or to linger at these locations any longer than strictly necessary for entering or exiting the festival site. It is also forbidden to deface, mark, damage, tear down or otherwise destroy, in whole or in part, any of the decorations or part of the festival site and / or the venue. Engaging in such behaviour may result in your removal from the festival and / or exclusion from future events and the police being called to attend.
xii. Ferringo Fest is, in part, an outdoor event, please bring attire suitable for the weather conditions.
xiii. Admission is at the customers’ own risk. Ferringo Fest, our affiliates and / or sponsors will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the festival including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the actions of other patrons or third parties.
xiv. The following restrictions will apply to your attendance at the festival and your breach of any of these may lead to you being refused entry or ejected from the festival (please note that we are not responsible for any prohibited items or other items that we deem inappropriate or unsafe that are confiscated)
1. Crowd surfing and moshing are prohibited.
2. No starting fires, involvement in or throwing items into a fire.
3. Air horns, selfie sticks, cans, Chinese lanterns, dangerous or hazardous weapons / items, fireworks, flags, banners, poles, gas canisters, hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers / scanners and the like; glass (of any kind), high-vis, klaxons; and other similar items capable of making loud noise, laser pens, scooters, skateboards or cans, spray cans, marker pens are prohibited and any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and / or security; Bicycles skateboards, scooters or personal motorised vehicles are not permitted.
4. Inappropriate signs or branded items.
b. Times
i. Ferringo Fest starts at 12:00 PM on Sunday 26th May 2024
ii. Ferringo Fest finishes at 20:00 PM on Sunday 26th May 2024
iii. Last entrance into the festival is 18:00 PM on Sunday 26th May 2024
iv. All patrons will leave the venue no later than 20:30 PM on Sunday 26th May 2024
c. Ages
i. Tickets are sold as adult, children and infant. Adult tickets refer to anyone 15+ years of age and over, children's tickets refer to a child between the ages of 5-14 and infant tickets refer to children between the ages of 0-4 years old.
ii. Infant tickets are free of charge when purchased with an adult ticket.
iii. Alcohol will not be served to anyone that looks under the age of 21 and can not provide sufficient identification to prove otherwise.
d. Food and Drink
i. Food (with the exception of baby food where not in glass containers and specific dietary requirements) is not permitted to being brough to the festival. We cater for food allergies, please contact us at contact@ferringofest.co.uk for more information or is you have any questions.
ii. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are not permitted to being brought to the festival.
iii. Illegal substances including new psychoactive substances (commonly known as ‘legal highs’) and / or other drugs considered to be unsafe are not permitted to be brought into the Event
iv. Last orders for drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) is 18:30
v. Bars will close at 19:00
e. Illegal Items / Substance
i. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited at the festival, any person found in possession of such substances will be denied entrance / or removed to / from the festival and the police may be called to attend.
ii. Entrance will not be permitted to the festival if you are in possession of the following items:
1. Items that have the potential to be used in a dangerous or threatening manner
2. Firearms
3. Knives
4. Sharp items
5. Weapons of any description
6. Fireworks
7. Explosives
8. Glass bottles
9. Illegal drugs
iii. Illegal items may be subject to confiscation and / or reporting to the appropriate authority
iv. Ferringo Fest can not accept liability for any confiscated items (please contact us at contact@ferringofest.co.uk before you bring anything you feel could be confiscated).
f. Photograph and Videography
i. Throughout the festival photography and videography (including drone footage) may take place. By attending the festival you consent to being photographed and / or filmed and whereas your image, likeness, voice may be used by Ferringo Fest for promotional purposes.
ii. Any photography or video taken at the festival, whether in digital or analogue format, is subject to a mandatory, non-exclusive license to Ferringo Fest for use in promotional purposes. Any artwork or performances sponsored by the festival or taking place on festival grounds is also subject to a mandatory, non-exclusive license to Ferringo Fest for use in promotional purposes. The 'footage' may also be used by or on behalf of the Ferringo Fest, affiliates, partners, sponsors, officers, shareholders, successors or assigns for any purpose, including, but not limited to, archival, promotional, and commercial purposes, without any compensation to you. You waive all other rights in the footage, including, but not limited to, all claims of so-called moral rights. This footage may also be used as a means to identify and facilitate the prosecution of illegal or impermissible conduct.
iii. Attendees may take photos and shoot video for personal, non-commercial use, with personal cameras as long as they are not obstructing views or causing a disturbance to other festival attendees.
iv. Any photographs or recordings made by ticket holders on or near the festival site may not be used for commercial or public purposes, unless consented to by Ferringo Fest.
v. Use of personal drone(s) is prohibited without specific written permission from Ferringo Fest. Please keep them packed away, if we see you using it, we may confiscate it and hold it for the remainder of the festival.
vi. Unauthorized photography or audio / video recording of any performance at the festival is strictly prohibited.
vii. The festival cannot accept liability for any damages, loss or injuries sustained at the festival, including loss or damage to property, however caused.
g. Animals
i. Animals are prohibited from being brought into the festival unless they are registered guidance or assistance animals.
h. Vehicle Entrance / Parking
i. Public access to the venue is by foot only unless specifically agreed with Ferringo Fest
ii. Parking is not available at the venue for public persons unless pre-agreed with Ferringo Fest, an accessible parking space is required (a blue badge may be required to prove your requirement for an accessible parking place).
iii. Parking is strictly prohibited on the roads surrounding the venue. Vehicles will be turned away at the entrance to Elton Vale Road unless the vehicle is displaying a valid residents parking pass. Any vehicles parked on Elton Vale Road, Foulds Avenue or Lodge Side without a residents parking pass may be subject to being towed.
iv. Ferringo Fest is not responsible for cost, losses or damage to any vehicle on or near the festival, including, without limitation, vehicles towed from the Festival site.
v. The festival disclaims any and all responsibility from losses or damages to vehicles parked at or near the venue.
vi. Bicycle parking is not available at the festival.
i. Specialist Entry
i. If you have any special entrance requirements please contact us at contact@ferringfest.co.uk to discuss your needs
ii. Carers looking after another person attending the festival and who have purchased a full price ticket are welcome to the festival free of charge. You will require a ticket for entrance, please contact us at contact@ferringfest.co.uk to discuss prior to purchasing a ticket to the festival as you will require a code to redeem the ticket. You may be asked to provide proof
j. Programme / Line Up
i. Artist, band, performer line-up, all billed attractions at Ferringo Fest and site layout may be subject to change at any time without notice.
ii. All advertised performance times are also subject to change without notice.
iii. Your purchase of tickets is subject to our right to alter or vary the programme (including the layout of the site) due to events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
3. Own Risk / Liability
a. In case of an emergency / major incident please follow instructions from the Ferringo Fest staff, stewards, security personel and / other officials.
b. Please note that loud noise has the potential to damage hearing, Ferring Fest provide ear protection free of charge. Ear protection is avaiable at the first aid / meeting point marquee adjacent to the clubhouse.
c. In the event of a medical emergency, you hereby consent to medical care and transportation at your cost in order to obtain treatment that is deemed reasonably appropriate or necessary by the reasonable discretion of the festival staff, security, police or medical professionals.
d. You hereby agree to release and not hold responsible Ferringo Fest from any liability arising out of, or in connection with, the actions or omissions of the Ferringo Fest related to your medical care.
e. You recognize and acknowledge that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness and that not all such risks can be fully eliminated.
f. You understand this waiver extends to any liability that arises out of, or is in any way connected with the medical treatment and transportation provided in the event of an emergency and / or injury.
g. By entering the festival site, you voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of death, bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, that may be sustained as a result of attendance at the festival or while on the premises, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the festival parties.
h. By entering the festival, you assume any and all risk and / or danger, known or unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, resulting from, or incidental to, the festival, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to, the festival, including, but not limited to, any death, personal injury or loss, damage or liability whatsoever. You understand that your use of your ticket is contingent upon your voluntary assumption of the risk and danger that may result from, or be incidental to, your presence at the Festival, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Festival, including any actions or omissions of the festival parties.
i. By entering the festival, you acknowledge and agree that you may be subject to extremely loud music and sounds, as well as special effects, including, but not limited to, laser lights, strobe lights, flashing lights, a variety of light emitting diodes (“LED”), rapidly changing or alternating images, and use of smoke, fog, and pyrotechnics (collectively, the “Special Effects”) at the festival.
j. You acknowledge and understand that the ticket is a revocable license to attend the festival for which it was issued, and is subject to revocation and denial of admission without compensation for any reason, including, but not limited to, your attempted or actual violation of any of the rules set forth herein, policy or regulations and for any other action taken by you in violation of any laws, or that may endanger other ticket holders.
4. Indemnification
a. You hereby indemnify and not hold responsible the Ferringo Fest, its parent, affiliate, and subsidiary companies, and each of their respective representatives, officers, directors, owners, members, trustees, agents, employees, successors and assigns, including the owners of the venues where the festival events take place, the ticket agent(s), festival sponsors, the promoter(s), and the performing artists, including their respective management, agents, staff and designees (collectively, the “Company Parties”) from any loss, liability, damage or cost in any way arising out of or related to, your actions and omissions at, around, or while traveling to and from, the festival.
b. You hereby waive, discharge, hold harmless and covenant not to sue the Company Parties from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the festival, for any claims, causes of action, obligations, lawsuits, charges, complaints, controversies, damages, costs or experiences of whatsoever kind, nature, or description arising out of, or related to the festival, your attendance at the festival, or your travel to and from the festival, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Company Parties.
c. For safety reasons, Ferringo Fest reserves the right to, without any prior notice or compensation to you: (i) postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the festival; (ii) provisionally keep visitors on the festival site at the end of the festival; (iii) totally or partially vacate the festival site; and (iv) deny access to the festival site regardless of the possession of a ticket.
d. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or alter any aspect of the festival (including, without limitation, the appearance of any performer or artist, and / or the order of performance of any performer or artist), at any time, for any reason whatsoever, without any prior notice or compensation to you. You understand that the artists and / or line up for the Festival may be changed and that such occurrence shall not, under any circumstances, entitle you to any claim whatsoever, including, but not limited to, a refund for your ticket.
e. You understand, acknowledge and agree that the names of any artist, act or performer contained in any festival promotional material is intended for informational purposes only, and does not, in any way, represent the importance or headline status of any single artist, act or performer, and is subject to change without prior notice.
5. Other
a. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and we both agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
